Holden Smith expands into Manchester targeting north west growth
We are delighted to start 2025 announcing the opening of our first Manchester office as we expand our operations to target further growth across the north west.
Our new office – based at 111 Piccadilly – will focus on growing our corporate and commercial offering and will be headed up by newly-appointed consultant and highly experienced corporate lawyer, Neville Moore.
Nev will work closely alongside our newly appointed commercial property executive, Colette Darlington and corporate solicitor, Brittany Clarke, who will also be based in Manchester.
Commenting on joining Holden Smith, Nev Moore said: “I am delighted to be joining James, David and the Holden Smith team on the next step of the firm’s journey as we grow into Manchester. I have followed the Holden Smith story and have been impressed with how the firm has grown from start-up to a well-established firm with a turnover of £8.5million and a team of more than 100 staff in just under six years, and I’m pleased to be joining at such an exciting time to develop our corporate offer further for clients.”
Holden Smith Cofounder and director, James Smith, said: “Our corporate and commercial department has been hugely successful since our head of corporate and commercial, Rob Kelly, joined us a few years ago. Kick-starting 2025, we are now keen to develop the team and department further by capitalising on and growing our business networks in and around Manchester and the north west.
“Manchester is an internationally recognised city, and one that we want Holden Smith to be a part of. We couldn’t think of anyone better than Nev to help lead our growth there. With a law degree from Oxford and having trained at a Magic Circle firm, Nev is a highly accomplished corporate lawyer with an impressive track record delivering on complex transactional and advisory matters for clients, with a particular focus on corporate governance, private equity, and M&A.”
